Hello, I just wanted to say such a huge thank you to you for making my wedding dress absolutely perfect. I had my wedding 2 weeks ago on a beautiful sunny day and had the most perfect time. I had SO many amazing comments about my dress and I felt like a princess wearing it. I’m just delighted that it fitted me so perfectly and all of the small details I had asked for were beautifully mended and executed. My dress was transformed from when I brought it to you back in January to be unique and perfect to me, I just can’t thank you enough. I had an excellent experience with Marie at design and alter. She transformed my wedding dress into my perfect dress. The changes to the dress were quite dramatic but you couldn’t even tell it had been altered and it fit perfectly; professionalism every step of the way. I would absolutely recommend design and alter 5 star service 🙂

Hi Marie, I just wanted to write and say thank you for all the time and effort that you put in for making and altering our family dress for my wedding on the 22nd April.
You are so skilled with the handiwork and it looked so perfect on the day – some would say regal! You knew all the right answers to each of the different areas, and you managed to take what was a stored dress to a loved dress – so thank you and well done.
I have attached a photo of the happy couple, so you can see the dress but I had some many compliments and with the 22nd of April being the 120th year of it’s existence – it was even more impressive. So thank you for enabling it to be reinforced, to stay true to the shape and the antique-ness of the dress. Thank you so much and best of luck in the future.
Dear Lorraine and the Bride & Alter team, thank you so much for all of your help, hard work, text messages and compassion working to repair my wedding dress. We were panicked enough, so I can’t even imagine what went on behind the scenes in your workshop! I really can’t thank you enough for coordinating with Anne Barge in the US, sourcing the material and remaking the skirt perfectly from scratch. I would be more than happy to recommend the service I received at Bride and Alter. My dress was made of intricate lace and having bought it off the rack at a sample sale, it was especially difficult to alter. This did not appear to phase Marie in the slightest and I knew I could trust her 100%. On the day, the dress fit perfectly and I could not have been happier with the results.
